Parade Puppets

 I was commissioned by Season of Heritage to design a Puppet parade to celebrate the re-opening of the Bridport Museum.  The Spirit of Bridport parade was lead by a giant 11ft high puppet of The Spirit of Bridport created by myself and a team of fantastic volunteers. 

I designed and ran workshops with local comprehensive, primary schools and community groups to make over 100 pieces for the parade including flying seagull hats, dancing fish, cardboard tractors, festival faces and historic local buildings to name a few!  It was a great sunny day for the parade and music was provided by a Samba band to get everyone moving.
